    WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is talking to God and listening to God.

-We talk to God by offering Him praise with our mouths and words for who He is. We thank Him for what He has done and is doing and that which He will be doing, and requesting things that are in agreement with His character.
-We listen to God by reading His Word (Bible) to know His character and pray accordingly. We get instructions and comfort from listening to Him talk to us. We see answers to our prayer.

    CAN WE EXPECT ANSWERS?
When we pray according to His will, we can believe that we will receive what we ask for. We should expect it. Our faith is in His character. He is faithful and true to His Word (Bible). Once He said it, He will do it. We have hope because our trust is in Him.

    WHAT DO WE PRAY FOR?
-All that He is concerned about. He cares for you and has plans for your life before even He formed you and put you in your mother's womb. He loves you so much that He came down to earth to die for your sins that you may have access to Him and fellowship with Him so, He made a Way, but He does not force, otherwise we would be robots with no freewill, which means no love. He wants us to want to, therefore freewill. Yet He is always wooing us with His love and initiating it unconditionally. -He also loves others the same way, so it is important that as we pray for ourselves and our needs, we want to pray for others and their needs as well. It builds our fellowship with God.

    HOW DO WE PRAY?
-We come before Him with thanksgiving and humility in the name of Jesus. Why Jesus? God is PERFECT and we are sinners, sin cannot come in the presence of Holy God. He desires to fellowship with us so He made a WAY to pay for our sins because we could never pay it and keep paying it, we would be doomed eternally. He sent His son who lived a pure and holy life as a human being on earth like us and gave His life as a sacrifice for all of our sins with His blood. All we have to do is confess that Jesus Christ sacrifice for our sins to Him by faith knowing that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, for He said so. Seek His forgiveness and receive it by faith. Praise Him for it

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN WE GET ANSWERS?
-We first offer Him thanks for whatever He said, "Yes", "No" or "Wait". We tell others about it and give Him the credit when it comes to pass.

"If I seek to please men I can not be a servant of God"

    Galations 1:10
